What Makes a Great IBM Z Professional Today

What will make the next generation of IBM Z and LinuxONE professionals successful?

🔹 More technical depth?
🔹 More platform expertise?
🔹 Or a broader understanding of how enterprise technologies work together?

My view is that the future isn’t about choosing between depth and breadth.

It’s about combining both.

The most effective professionals will continue to build deep expertise in their chosen technologies while also understanding how those technologies connect with APIs, AI, DevOps, automation, hybrid cloud and the wider enterprise ecosystem.

As IBM Z and LinuxONE continue to evolve, the ability to bridge platforms, disciplines and teams is becoming increasingly valuable.
